Spring Concert This Thursday!
Our Spring Concert is scheduled for this Thursday, May 7th, starting at 6:00 PM with a call time for students at 5:30 PM. Students should wear summer/spring formal attire, similar to what you might wear for an Easter service; pastel colors and Hawaiian shirts are both welcome.

Audition
Leadership Auditions This Week
Leadership auditions are running Monday through Thursday this week. The full schedule has been sent out and confirmed with students through the BAND app, so please ensure you understand your personal schedule for the performance, interview, and teaching portions of the exam.

Night of Percussion Concert Tonight
Join us tonight, Monday, May 4th, at 6:00 PM for the Night of Percussion Concert. This performance will be held at the CHS Band Hall in Sousa.

Good Luck to Our Orchestra Friends!
We want to extend our best wishes to our friends in the orchestra as they prepare for their concert on Tuesday evening, May 5th. We hope it's a great performance for them!

Trip
Spring Trip Departure This Friday!
There is no school this Friday, May 8th, for students, but all students participating in the band spring trip will be departing on Friday. You MUST have your rules and regulations acknowledgement form completed with both a traveler and parent/guardian signature before you step onto the bus.

Recruitment
Color Guard Recruitment Efforts
We are strongly focusing our recruitment efforts towards Color Guard this week, and we will be visiting middle schools with posters and available students to demonstrate how Color Guard works. Additionally, students will be spinning before school in the CHS courtyard on Wednesday morning, May 6th, to help drum up recruitment for current CHS students.

Reminder
Band Fee Balances Due
Band Fee acknowledgement letters were sent home this past week; we hope all parents and students have had time to check their balances and pay those that are due, as this money is needed to pay our bills. Please remember that this Friday, May 8th, those fees will be transferred from Presto to the school Student Service Center in order to be paid. Contact a director if you need assistance with payment or have any questions about remaining balances.

Nominations for Band Booster executive board positions remain open until May 7th. The official election will take place on May 14th at 7:00 PM at our New Parent Welcome/End of Year Band Booster meeting.
