Hello Mighty Bobcat Band families, I hope everyone is having a good start to their summer! As we move closer to July, there are a few important items to keep in mind regarding summer preparations for band camp and the upcoming season. We're looking forward to seeing everyone soon and getting started.

Assignment
MakeMusic Summer Assignments
MakeMusic Summer Assignments have been uploaded and are now available for submission. These assignments should be completed throughout the summer to best prepare you for band camp in July, and regular practice on your instrument will set you up for success. Please note that all assignments MUST be completed with a 90% or above, otherwise they will be re-assigned.

Summer Health
Remember to prioritize your summer health by getting outside for a walk, a jog, or some other physical activity, and make sure to get some sun. Always wear sunscreen and keep active to stay in top shape.

Make-up Registration Day
For those individuals who have not yet been able to attend registration, a make-up registration day will be scheduled. Details for this will be sent out in a separate email soon.

Sports Physicals
All students participating in band activities, including marching band, must have a current sports physical on file with the school. Please ensure your physical is up-to-date before band camp begins.

Volunteer
Parent Volunteers
We are starting to coordinate adult volunteers for the upcoming season, so please be on the lookout for contact from our Band Parents. We aim to begin coordination sooner rather than later.

July Band Parent Meeting
Keep your eyes open for an upcoming July Band Parent Meeting with our Band Booster Executive Board. Remember, ALL parents of Mighty Bobcat Band students are Band Boosters, and we have some amazing parents!

Upcoming Leadership Clinic
Our Leadership Clinic is scheduled for July 5th-7th. The full schedule for these days is already posted on our band calendar, which is now fully updated and functional.

Please take some time to refresh yourselves with our Summer Responsibilities for July and August. We've clarified details for a Rookie camp in July and provided more specific information for our expected August schedule, including evening rehearsals.

Now is the perfect time to purchase your white shirts, athletic shoes, and other band camp items! Water Bottles, Coozies, and other mandatory items are on order and will be available in July closer to Band camp beginning.
