Hello Mighty Bobcat Band families, I hope everyone had a good weekend and is ready for a productive week ahead. We have some important updates regarding upcoming football games and a calendar adjustment for next week's rehearsal that I want to make sure everyone is aware of.

Update

Football Game Update: September 18th

Please note that the Mighty Bobcat Band will officially NOT be attending the football game on September 18th. Central Band has a double competitive commitment the next day (Region Jazz Auditions and Percussion Competition) and we need to make sure students have the ability to rest and stay academically engaged!

Schedule

Belton Game/Middle School Night

For our game against Belton on September 25th, the band will be leaving AFTER the 3rd Quarter in order to get the students to bed sooner before their . Please prepare for student pick up accordingly as it will be earlier than typical!

Reminder

Rehearsal Time Adjustment for September 7th

Just a reminder about the calendar update for September 7th: our rehearsal on this date will now be held in the evening at our normal rehearsal time. Please ensure students are prepared for this adjusted schedule.

Important Calendar Additions

Please note two new additions to our band calendar for September 10th. We will have the Homecoming Parade for the entire Mighty Bobcat Band, (that means Varsity, and JV) followed by a Varsity Stadium Rehearsal post-Homecoming Pep-Rally until 8:30PM.
