Hello Mighty Bobcat Band families, I hope everyone is having a great start to the week. This week is UNIQUE for rehearsals with Choreographer Oscar Ortiz coming to town. Please CAREFULLY look at each rehearsal title to see if it applies to your student! There are multiple simultaneous rehearsals this week with different times for winds, color guard, and percussion, including WHERE the rehearsal is taking place!

Important Notice

Thursday Rehearsal Release Time

Due to the UIL 8-hour rule regulation, our Thursday rehearsal this week will be adjusted to compensate for our special rehearsals. Students will be released at 5:30 PM on Thursday, so please plan for an earlier pickup.

Special Rehearsals This Week

Just a heads-up that we have special rehearsals scheduled for August 24th and 25th. These sessions will run for slightly longer hours, so please ensure students are prepared and hydrated.

September 7th Rehearsal Change

Please note a change to our calendar for September 7th. The rehearsal on this date will now be held in the evening at our normal rehearsal time.

Important Calendar Additions

Please note two new additions to our band calendar for September 10th. We will have the Homecoming Parade for the entire Mighty Bobcat Band, (that means Varsity, and JV) followed by a Stadium Rehearsal post-Homecoming Pep-Rally until 8:30PM.

First Football Game of the Season!

Our first football game of the season is scheduled for August 28th! Itineraries will be posted in the notes section of our google calendar, and for home games, buses will be provided to and from the school for all students. A meal will also be provided by the Band Boosters prior to leaving the school

Band Calendar Update Reminders

Varsity Drill Rehearsals are scheduled for August 22nd and August 29th, both Saturday Mornings from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. September 19th for the Thunder In the Hills Percussion Invitational (Percussion, Soloists and Drum Majors).
